How should I dress?

Men: While preaching, a dress shirt, tie and suit is generally acceptable to the congregation. However, many of the campaigns will be held in areas of the world where the climate ranges from very warm to hot. In those circumstances wearing a dress shirt and tie is appropriate, though there may be some members who would still prefer that the speaker wear a jacket - a preference I am unwilling to grant.  Comfortable, casual dress is appropriate while carrying out personal activities during the day.

Women: While preaching a Sabbath dress, or skirt and blouse is very appropriate.  Many parts of the world are uncomfortable with women wearing slacks or a pants-suit while leading out in a public role.  Again, casual dress, including slacks, is normally appropriate while carrying out personal activities during the day.

Both: Please note that, apart from the wedding ring, any jewelry will be a distraction in most parts of the world where campaigns are scheduled.
