A message from Elder Zairemtheanga: The Mizo conference has 12,000 members, 13 pastors and 25 volunteers Bible workers. The Adventist work started in Mizoram with the first missionaries in the 1930s, and many Mizo people have graduated from Adventist schools and today are leaders in the church.  Although the work is not growing as fast in Mizoram as in some other areas in India, there are many accepting the truth.  The Mizo members tend to become very strong believers, and the apostacy rates are very low.

Preparation plans include cottage meetings, home visitation, Bible studies by many of the volunteers and evangelists that are already working in the centers below.  Follow up work, as with previous campaigns, invovles local menbers and Bible workers who continue to visit new members, continue to study with interested individuals, and ihelp new members become part of the Adventist family.  We hope to add Bible workers as well, but these centers are in areas where some members are already available to become involved in support of new congregations.
