A Message from Elder Paulson: The Northeast Andhra Region was formed in 1999 with an initial membership of 12,000 members. Membership has now grown to 29,000. These members are served by 9 pastors and 30 volunteer Bible workers. This is a tropical paradise on the eastern seaboard of India.

A Special Message from Elder Jesudas: The South Rayalseema Region was established in 1999 with 1200 members. The membership has grown to over 33,000, and 74 churches have been built! Towns in this region are extremely eager to learn the Gospel. Many of the targeted centers in this region are unentered territory, and we are praying for a rich blessing from the Lord! 15 villages around these 10 centers are being targeted; satellite meetings are being conducted in preparation for these evangelistic campaigns, to prepare many souls to accept the truth about our living God. A Special Message from Elder Chandanshive: Our region is one of the newest regions targedet this year; it was organized in July, 2001 with 500 members and just ONE church. With The Lord's blessings, we have grown to 1700 members in 32 congregations. There are 3 pastors and 9 volunteer Bible workers working in this region, and one of our greatest needs is for pastoral help.

Last year, during one of our evangelistic meetings, 9 pastors from other denominations accepted the sweet Adventist message and joined the church-- Along with their entire congretations! These are the 9 volunteer Bible workers mentioned above. Praise The Lord!

Preparation has already begun with visitation, cottage meetings, cluster-visitation, and we're proclaiming our Health message with films and even with the help of local [non-adventist] doctors. Contact has been made with village leaders, and we're involving them with all our meeting plans. We have their support, and in fact, they're welcoming us to come!

Follow-up will be facilitated by workers currently placed in these areas. These workers will continue to nuture new members and all interested individuals. We need to raise funds for additional Bible workers, and it's our sincere hope to be able to construct some churches soon.

A Special Message from Elder Chelvaraju: North Karnataka Region is the oldest Adventist region in Southern Asia. The centers targeted for evangelism below are called Lambani Thandas. The people are very close and loyal to the Nayak or leader, and willingly follow his instruction and counsel. We have made important contacts with each Nayak. Southeast Andhra Region

A Message from Pr Wilbert: This region was organized just ONE year ago, with 3500 members. Now there are 23,000 members! Currently there are 12 pastors (including 5 ordained pastors) working in this region with the help of 18 Bible workers and 100 Global Mission Pioneers. Some of these workers are already living and working in the following five centers, giving Bible studies, visiting homes, destributing free liture, conducting night meetings all in preparation for the upcoming meetings listed below so that many will be ready to make decisions for Christ. Following the meetings, teams of volunteers will continue to live and work in these centers for another 15 days strengthening the new members, and continuing to work with people there. Bible workers will then be placed to carry on the work. They will live and work in the centers. As soon as feasible, we plan to construct a church in each center.
